Mr. Kabir Duggal, Senior Associate, Baker & McKenzie, New York, will be speaking at Panel Discussion II: “Transparency v. Confidentiality: Finding the Middle Ground in Perceived Contradictions” on October 15, 2016.
Mr. Duggal is a part of Baker & McKenzie’s International Arbitration Practice Group. His experience includes complex disputes under numerous investment treaties in Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Mr. Duggal is also a Lecturer-in-Law at the Columbia Law School, teaching International Investment Law and Arbitration. He has taught investment dispute resolution courses in educational institutions all over the world, including Georgetown University Law Center, Fordham Law School, The Graduate Institute (Geneva, Switzerland), and National Law University, Jodhpur, among others. He has published several articles and books and is a regular speaker at global conferences.
Mr. Duggal will be discussing concerns of transparency and confidentiality in relation to third party funding.
