Mr. James P. Duffy IV, Partner at Baker & McKenzie LLP, shall be delivering the Keynote Address at the Inaugural Ceremony on October 15, 2016.
Mr. Duffy is a partner at the firm’s New York office; his practice focuses on international arbitration and related litigation. He has over 15 years of experience in international arbitration and international litigation in complex commercial and investor-state disputes, as well as in formulating global dispute resolution strategies. He has represented clients across a range of industries in international arbitrations administered under the ICC, AAA/ICDR, LCIA, HKIAC, SIAC, DIAC, JAMS, GAFTA, ICSID and UNCITRAL rules in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. His practice has a strong geographic focus on the MENA region, the Indian sub-continent and East Asia.
In his Keynote Address, Mr. Duffy will be discussing the theme of Conference, the increasing importance of International Commercial Arbitration, as well as Baker & McKenzie’s role in ICA. He will also be moderating Panel Session I, the topic of which is “The Changing Face Of Investorstate Dispute Settlement: Is There An Ideal Model?”
